Santos Coffee With Soul

The vibe of the place is good but the food is a disappointment. For $8.50 you get this muffin sized excuse of a quiche Lorraine which was clearly reheated after being frozen, with a small salad that is clearly there to draw attention away from the unpalatability of the quiche. Their iced latte comes in a nice presentation, but the coffee has this persistent, annoying bitterness that lingers even after adding and dissolving several packets of sugar. I won’t be finishing it. For $10.50 their avocado toast is a disappointment. It feels stale, and the toppings don’t join together in a nice harmony like some other avocado toasts I’ve had for a comparable price. The one positive I can think of is that interior of this place, which is nice. There is also WiFi and air conditioning.

The vanilla latte was absolutely delicious! Smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of vanilla. The espresso had a great flavor without being too strong and the sweetness wasn’t overpowering. Definitely one of the better vanilla lattes I’ve had and I’d order it again!

I had the açaí bowl. My husband had a turkey, egg and cheese croissant. We both had iced lattes with a shot of Kahlua (vacation, why not?). The staff was super friendly. It’s a nice and calm atmosphere. Definitely our breakfast spot for the rest of the trip!

I ate there for lunch . Great sandwiches, friendly place and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly as well . Nice atmosphere. Well decorated.

Great shaded outdoor patio. We enjoyed the coffee Frappuccino with vanilla ice cream and açaí bowl. It’s very pricey though - a bit higher than what we are used to paying in the US at similar cafes, so I’m giving it 4 stars. Though prices seem similarly high in all cafes here in Aruba.
