This place was amazing. I just left there for my wife and I 40's birthday and we also had a group of friends. The grounds are clean and kept well. The restaurants food were all great. Great service all around. Camille who works in the Zima Rooftop bar was the best server. Yuley who works in the brunch area was great as well. We really appreciated all the amenities and the time away from our everyday lives.

If you are looking for understated luxury, pristine tropical beauty, and top-tier Caribbean hospitality, this 5-star resort is hard to beat. Here are the highlights from our stay: • Location & Beach: Eagle Beach is noticeably more tranquil and relaxed than the busier high-rise area. The resort’s dedicated beach space has comfortable loungers, umbrellas, and fantastic beachside service. • Suites & Amenities: The modern, classic contemporary suites are gorgeous. The private balcony whirlpools and swim-up suite options make the stay feel truly elevated. Thoughtful touches like complimentary tote bags and spa-grade amenities were much appreciated. • Dining: The breakfast buffet was incredible—fresh tropical fruits, fruit juices, pastry selection, made-to-order egg dishes, yogurt parfaits, cereal options and desserts. • Service: The staff truly elevated our experience. Everyone from the poolside servers to the front desk team was warm, welcoming, and attentive. Whether you are planning a romantic escape or a relaxing island retreat, JOIA sets a new standard for luxury in Aruba. 10/10—we cannot wait to return!

Stayed for a 5 night trip. Room was fantastic (ocean view, center property). Did the all inclusive package. Food was impressive, which is very rare at all inclusive. Drinks were premium and well made. Service was great at the adults only pool. (Shout out to Jenny and Camilla). Views were beautiful and the beach is the world famous Eagle Beach.

Our stay was rather mediocre, especially considering the high price we paid. The property itself is nice and well maintained, but in our opinion it does not meet the standards expected of a five-star hotel. First of all, we booked a suite, but the room did not have separate living and sleeping areas, as we would normally expect from a true suite. More importantly, we were given two small double beds instead of one larger bed, even though we had clearly stated that we were there on our honeymoon. One of the few nice features was the availability of several pools. However, one of the pool areas was reserved for IberoStar members, something that had not been clearly explained to us at reception during check-in. As a result, we went to that pool without realizing it was restricted and were promptly asked to leave by a staff member, who spoke to us in a rather abrupt manner and offered very little explanation. It was an unpleasant and embarrassing situation, especially while on our honeymoon. Another issue concerned breakfast. The buffet was generous and the food was good, but there was very little variation from day to day, so during a one-week stay we ended up eating essentially the same things every morning. We were also not informed that coffee-based drinks and milk were not included. When we ordered them, we were presented with an additional bill at the table. Considering that this is a five-star hotel, we would expect at least one or two hot beverages per person to be included with breakfast. Finally, on several occasions we felt that some members of staff treated us in a rather dismissive and unfriendly manner, which unfortunately affected the overall experience.

I had a wonderful visit as my first time in this paradise. This hotel has amazing views of one of the best beach’s in all Aruba 🇦🇼 The food is amazing. The staff made the stay magical. From the marea restaurant we loved there service and the food. Thanks to David, Ana, Daniel and Devine and Miriam the hostess that super nice . At the Bucatini restaurant Astrid very nice. At the main pool bar to Camino who shared this story's and has such great drinks. To the front desk that always have a smile Amir, Rene and Tyrone. and the bellboys Robbert and Rich. The turn down services from Daniela who did an amazing job .
