Courtyard by Marriott Aruba Resort

Great hotel!!! We stayed here one night a few years ago and had a very positive experience so we came back and stayed 4 nights this trip. The Courtyard is a hidden gem. The service is top notch, the pizzas and burger are really good and the prices are very reasonable. The room is large and comfortable. Never an issue getting pools chairs with shade. The beach area is improved since our first visit. The buffet breakfast, included, is very good. The bartenders are amazing (Oscar and the two ladies from Colombia). Marvin, the manager we met at check in, was engaging and friendly. Hotel and staff acknowledged Platinum status with a preferred room location and a welcome gift. We will be back. They set the bar high as we now visit the Renaissance for a few nights.

Just finished a one week stay at the Courtyard and we loved it. It’s not a luxury resort like the St Regis or the Hyatt but it’s more intimate and less crowded. It’s also a little different crowd. We had a poolside room which was clean and spacious. The place is well maintained. Great pool area and live entertainment. Kudos to the staff! Respectful, helpful and friendly. They make you feel welcome and never look bothered. The beach chairs they have are limited. This is the only negative about this hotel. Overall, a great stay for our first time in Aruba.

There is a windmill next to the hotel. When you check in you CANNOT MISS IT. If you get a room on the side of the hotel near that you can expect music until 6am that literally shakes your room as there is a well known after hours night club there. You’d have a quieter night of sleep on the Vegas strip-not remotely kidding. Ask, insist, plead with all your might to be put on the opposite side of the hotel from that windmill if you want a fighting chance to sleep. Otherwise you’ll be writing a google review like me at 4am to the sound of Lil Jon. It unfortunately overshadows the good about the hotel…

We stayed for six nights here. The resort was perfect size for us, not overwhelming large. It was easy to reach to the pool, restaurant, spa, bars, parking from our rooms. Our rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The walk to the beach and the strip was 2-5 minutes. They had shuttle to the beach readily available. We would definitely stay here again.

Had a fantastic time! We were a family of 5 with 3 children, spent 7 nights very relaxed holiday there. Beautiful and child-friendly low-rise layout lined with palm trees. It is a 10-minute walk to Palm beach but the hotel has convenient shuttles every few minutes. Has heated pool for day-long relaxing play and lounging by the pool-side bar. The kids’ cave was nicely equipped and had very talented and professional staff who kept kids occupied with interesting art & craft activities and entertainment. Kids loved it! Definitely recommend!
