Zima Rooftop Bar

Zima was one of our favorite spots at JOIA Aruba by Iberostar. The rooftop setting immediately gives it a different energy from the other restaurants and bars at the resort. The views, open-air atmosphere, and overall design make it a perfect place to unwind, enjoy a drink, and take in the evening. The drinks were a major highlight. The cocktails were beautifully presented, well balanced, and felt more elevated than standard resort drinks. There was a nice variety, so whether you wanted something refreshing, fruity, stronger, or more classic, there were plenty of options. It was especially enjoyable to sit on the rooftop with a cocktail while the sun was going down and the resort started lighting up for the evening. The food was also very good and worked perfectly for the setting. The menu had a nice selection of bites and dishes that were easy to share, which made Zima feel ideal for a relaxed evening rather than a formal sit-down meal. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The food paired well with the drinks and made it easy to stay longer than originally planned. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional. The staff made sure we were comfortable, checked on us without being intrusive, and kept the drinks and food moving at a good pace. That really added to the experience because rooftop bars can sometimes rely heavily on atmosphere, but Zima delivered on the service as well. The ambiance is probably what makes Zima stand out the most. It feels stylish, modern, and lively while still being relaxing. It’s a great place for couples, friends, or even families with older children who want somewhere a little more special to sit in the evening. The music, lighting, breeze, and rooftop views all come together to create a very memorable setting. Overall, Zima is definitely worth visiting while staying at JOIA Aruba by Iberostar. Between the rooftop atmosphere, creative drinks, tasty food, and attentive service, it offers a complete experience rather than just being a place to grab a quick drink. Beautiful rooftop views, great cocktails, delicious food, and a fun upscale atmosphere — one of the best places at JOIA to spend an evening.

Hotel was beautiful, very clean, and close to all the local attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bartenders were very attentive(one in particular name Edison made us drinks that were always on point! Highly recommend

We have been poolside at ZIMA numerous times on our trip (honeymoon). Each time the service has been great, the food tasty, and the views amazing. At night we will sit and listen to the live band. We want to especially recognize Camille for her great service!

Amazing View! 😍 Great drinks and excellent food. Happy Hours on friday and saturday between 5:30-7:30PM with live band! Highly recommend Zima! Outdoors is nice close to sunset! Inside is also very beautiful. We had some amazing snacks, cheeseballs and some fish and chips and few cocktails 🍹🍹

Amazing and beautiful place. Eagle beach location is top notch. The staff greets everyone as though they have known you for ever. Food was amazing. Location is ideal of you dont want the crowds at Palms beach. For us personally Deisy was amazing. By the 2nd day she knew us personally and went out of her way anytime we ate or had drinks at the Zima bar. And the view from the Zima at sunset is something you cant miss.
