The pastechi are FIRE—best on the island. I honestly fell in love with them. Fried but not oily, with a flaky exterior that holds its shape and a moist, flavorful inside. Tried the pastechi con queso and carne—the cheese one was my favorite. It reminded me of my go-to Ecuadorian empanadas del viento. The carne version tasted like a cross between a beef patty and an empanada—like an authentic Jamaican beef patty had a child with an Ecuadorian empanada. The breakfast sandwich was good too—soft bread with avocado spread, egg, cheese, and jamón. This was my first time trying pastechi and it set the bar. I searched and ate at more pastechi trucks and stops during my trip—some came close, but none were better. I made sure this was one of my last stops before leaving. Also, don’t skip the fresh strawberry juice (fresa)—refreshing and worth it.

The food here was absolutely amazing for breakfast, and we got the pineapple and mixed fruit juices and they were so refreshing to have during our UTV trip around the island. My husband and I were so surprised at the price because we got so much food and drinks and the amount was so cheap. The food quality was amazing, we were trying to get some on the day we came back and when it was closed, we were so sad because we enjoyed the food so much. Definitely will come back here when we return to Aruba. 😊

The beef empanadas and the ham and cheese pasteshi are amazing 🤩 Try them while you are out exploring the island!!

This place is so delicious and the staff were so helpful describing everything. The pastries were very fresh and flavorful. I would eat everything from here one million times over!
