Are you ready to enjoy the most epic snorkel spots?

What can you expect?

This is more than just a swim - it’s a guided encounter with one of the ocean’s most fascinating residents: the green sea turtle. On this small private group snorkel tour, you’ll explore some one of Aruba’s best snorkel spots away from the crowds for a peaceful and respectful connection with the marine environment.

Your experience is led by Captain Vito, an authentic Aruban local with over 25 years of experience as a former boat & sail captain. After a short safety briefing and gear fitting, you’ll snorkel from shore to reach quiet seagrass areas where green turtles graze, while your guide points out octopuses, rays, and colorful tropical fish.

After the snorkel, relax with refreshing & cold water, juice, or soda while enjoying the memories captured on video.

Where will this tour take you?

Tres Trapi: Meaning “Three Steps” in Papiamento, Tres Trapi are steps carved into the limestone rocks on Aruba’s northwestern coast. Located on the north side of the island, it’s famous for its calm waters, sandy seabed, and friendly sea turtles that often swim just a little distant from the shore. With clear visibility and easy access, it’s a favorite spot for both beginners and seasoned snorkelers to experience the magic of Aruba’s marine life. Come and soak up some of Aruba’s Vitamin Sea!

Tres Trapi Beach was one of our favorite spots in Aruba! The water was absolutely stunning crystal clear, beautiful shades of turquoise, and incredibly refreshing. It’s the perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy Aruba’s natural beauty. One of the highlights of our visit was spotting a sea turtle while snorkeling. Seeing a turtle in its natural habitat made the experience even more special and memorable. If you plan on getting in the water, I highly recommend bringing snorkel gear, as there is plenty to see beneath the surface. Water shoes are also a great idea because the entry can be rocky in some areas. If you’re not a strong swimmer, consider using a flotation device and staying within your comfort level, as the water can be deeper than some of Aruba’s other beaches. This isn’t your typical sandy beach, but that’s part of its charm. It’s a beautiful snorkeling spot with breathtaking views and amazing marine life. If you’re visiting Aruba and enjoy nature, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by gorgeous turquoise water, Tres Trapi is definitely worth a stop. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely visit again!

Tres Trapi Beach (and the handcarved, iconic steps that lend their name to this small shore entry access point) is quite stunning but has a very different vibe from the resort-flanked beaches that line most of the western coast. It looks more like the craggy limestone ‘beaches' of the rugged eastern coast, and if you slip on your way down to the water, you'll have the marks to show for it, but there's calm waters all around. You'll be able to explore the nooks and crannies of seagrass beds and coral patches in the unmistakably clear Caribbean waters. There's no shortage of areas to snorkel nearby, as Tres Trapi sits between Boca Catalina (easier, sandy entry to the north) and Malmok beaches (rocky, rough entry to the south). There are a few noteworthy shipwrecks just off the coast, as well, but you'll need to charter an excursion to reach them safely. Additionally, it's not really a beach you lay out at, and there are few spots to set up shop, so strap those flippers on and get in!

Tres Trapi has always been one of my absolute favorite spots on the island. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy a peaceful sunset, or take a refreshing dip in the crystalclear waters. There’s something so special about this bay it truly has everything you’d want for a perfect beach day. One of the highlights is seeing sea turtles swimming nearby (please remember to admire them from a distance and never touch them). The water is incredibly clear honestly, it feels even better than pool water because of how pure and beautiful it is. It can get deep for those who love to explore, which makes it great for snorkeling. Just be mindful of boats in the area. If you plan to swim farther out, I highly recommend using a visible flotation device so boats can easily spot you. Overall, Tres Trapi is a stunning and peaceful place that deserves to be treated with care. Please respect nature, don’t litter, and always clean up after yourself so we can all continue enjoying this beautiful bay for years to come.

Easy access and plenty of parking. There are a lot of fishes near the rocks and I mean it. We were able to see two turtles and one small sea snake. Fishes are not afraid of swimmers. Many of them swim around me after I stopped moving. Water is crystal clear and the whole place is beautiful when the sun is not blocked by the clouds. Kids can easily stand in the shallow area. People come here and stay maybe one hour just to snorkel among the fishes. Bring a real waterproof case for your phone if you want take underwater photos. The waterproof pouches are really bad for taking underwater pictures.

This place is great, you can jump off the rocky sides of the cove or you can snorkel. This place is not great for relaxing but just great for snorkeling, you can swim with millions of small fish and it is so cool. There is also so many turtles and they are really cool. There is a few problems though, first the rocks are really scratchy and they can hurt your feet, also when you are swimming you can get tossed into the rocks by the waves which can be dangerous. Secondly the waves, they are big and if you are not careful they can sweep you in all different directions. Finally there is not really any shade near the water but you can find trees just a little bit higher up see pictures below 👇.
