Best Time to Travel to Aruba

These months attract visitors escaping winter in North America and Europe. Expect bright sunshine, low humidity, and very little rainfall.

Good to know: 
Although Aruba’s brief rainy season technically overlaps with December and January, rainfall during this period is usually minimal and occurs in short, sporadic showers that pass quickly.

This is Aruba’s most expensive travel period. Flights, accommodations, tours, and restaurants book out quickly, so advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Also busier: July & August – Summer vacation months

While July and August are not part of Aruba’s official high season, these months can feel busier due to international summer school holidays, especially for families traveling with children.

- Warm sea temperatures and long sunny days

Good to know: Prices are generally lower than during winter high season, but popular resorts, tours, and restaurants can still fill up quickly during these months.

Low Season: April–November

Best for: budget travelers • couples • digital nomads • slow travelers • repeat visitors

Aruba’s low season officially runs from April through November. Visitor numbers are lower during this period, but the island continues to enjoy warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

April–June – Sunny, relaxed, and great value

These months are often considered one of the best times to visit Aruba. The weather remains dry and comfortable, with fewer crowds and attractive pricing.

- Sunshine typically returns quickly
- Rain most often falls in the evening or overnight

When Is the Best Time to Visit Aruba?

The best time to visit Aruba is arguably from December to June, as this period combines the island’s most reliable weather with a wide range of events and activities.
