This half-day Natural Pool and Indian Cave Safari by ABC Tours takes you off-road and into some of the island’s most breathtaking landscapes. During this four-hour adventure, you’ll experience dramatic coastlines, desert scenery, and hidden natural wonders. Led by experienced local guides, you’ll hear authentic Aruba stories while discovering parts of the island many visitors never see. Your guide will also gladly help capture the best photo moments, so you can fully enjoy the experience. This tour is perfect for travelers who want adventure, nature, and stunning views - all in a shorter timeframe.

Where will this tour take you?

Your journey begins at ABC Tours’ headquarters, where you’ll board a custom-built Jeep designed for Aruba’s rugged terrain. From there, you’ll venture off-road to explore the island’s wild north coast and Arikok National Park area. Highlights include the Natural Pool (Conchi), where you can swim and snorkel (weather permitting), the Indian Cave, known for its limestone formations and ancient drawings. Make scenic stops along Aruba’s rugged coastline, and see historic and natural landmarks along the way. The Natural Pool is formed by a protective wall of volcanic rock, creating a calm swimming area in an otherwise powerful ocean environment. While snorkeling, you may spot colorful tropical fish and vibrant marine life. This is your chance to experience Aruba beyond the beaches.

Pickup service

  • Tours depart from the ABC Tours office, which is located five minutes from the hotels and three minutes from the Cruise Ship Port.
  • This tour offers hotel pick up and drop off, select your location during booking.
  • If you are staying at an Airbnb, you can either go to the closest listed location or go directly to the ABC Tours office. 
  • Please be on time for your pick up, or arrive on time (early) to the office.

Know before you go:

  • Off-road routes are rugged by nature. ABC is different because comfort is engineered; their fleet is maintained to a family-level standard. If it's not safe enough for their family, then it’s not good enough for their guests. On rugged off-road terrain, comfort is part of safety. Hard bench-style seats can feel harsh and tiring over a full day. ABC’s suspension seating is designed to absorb bumps and reduce impact so guests stay comfortable and relaxed. 
  • It’s real off-roading, so you’ll feel some bumps - the fun kind. Most guests giggle and laugh through it. ABC's guides drive controlled and always put safety-first.
  • Most guests can join this tour. However, if you have back or neck issues, are pregnant, or prefer the smoothest ride possible, please notify the team in advance. They will advise you on the best option.
  • When swimming/snorkeling is part of the day at the Natural Pool, ABC's guides stay present and actively monitor the group, so guests feel supported - not supervised from a distance. ABC assigns a dedicated lifeguard, plus a team trained in First Aid & CPR.

Additional information:

  • Children’s pricing applies to ages 2–12.
  • Maximum of 8–10 passengers.
  • After payment, you will receive a confirmation email including your pick-up time.
  • Taxes and any additional fees will be added during the booking process..
  • The snorkel equipment is washed and sanitized before and after each tour. However, we do recommend that you bring your own if possible.
  • Not a strong swimmer? All life vests must be requested prior to tour departure.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
  • In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
  • No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
  • In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

We had an absolute blast on the Island Ultimate Safari tour with ABC Tours! The tour itself is fantastic, but what truly made it an unforgettable experience was the staff. A massive special shoutout to our tour guide, Gino (aka "Big Sexy")! He is hilarious, high-energy, and keeps you entertained the entire time. What we loved most is that he didn't just drive us to a spot and wait in the truck—he actually jumped in, swam with us, and participated in the activities. The north side of the island is super rocky, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. But it’s all part of the fun and excitement, especially when Gino yells out "Shake and Bake!" right before the ride starts shaking you in your seat! Lunch was also great. The chicken was delicious, and while the grouper fish was really tasty, I just wish the portion was a bit bigger. Another big shoutout to our server, "Jellybean"—she was incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. The tour on its own is great, but Gino and Jellybean’s excellent service made it 10 times better. So glad we did it! 10/10 recommend.

We took an ATV tour while in Aruba. Our guide Jj was amazing. So funny, kind and knowledgeable. He helped us have a great experience. The views were amazing. Loved snorkeling at the natural pool! It was one of the highlights of our trip. Would highly recommend this tour. Definitely buy the goggles, It gets dusty. Wear good water shoes. The rocks can get slippery. We rented a 4 seater and paid for the upgraded one. It was so worth the upgrade for comfort in the backseat.

Loved this adventure and the UTV’s were amazing, high quality ATVs. 5 stars, but I would give them a 10 honestly! Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! Reservations were super easy. Got checked in quickly. Our guide was JoJo. Can't say enough about him. He set expectations before we took off. Very firm on what we could and could not do. Once we got to our 1st stop, he was a really great guide. Very funny, personable and knowledgeable. #TipJoJo The tour was about 4 hours in total. We had 5 people in a 6 seater. I would recommend splitting up into separate vehicles so that folks don't have to ride in the back. Some of the terrain was really rough, which beat the rear passengers more than the front seat. Literally the only "complaint". You won't be putting around the island. It's a fun off road experience. They provided lunch after the tour. Lunch was really good as well. Parking around the HQ is limited, so prepare accordingly. They offer a shuttle to a couple of nearby hotels.

The Perfect Aruba Sampler – Do This First! The ABC tour was hands down the best thing we did in Aruba. We took it on our second day, and it was the perfect "sampler" for the island - we saw more in that one day than we could have ever covered on our own. It gave us the lay of the land, which made it so much easier to decide exactly which spots, like Baby Beach, we wanted to head back to with our rental car later in the week. The crew was phenomenal - Big Sexy, Little Sexy, and Mark are absolute legends who kept us laughing the whole time. The food was great (definitely try the fish), and having fresh Chill beer and cold lemonade waiting for us was the perfect touch. We even hit a viewpoint near the highest point on the island where I snagged a photo capturing 60% of the island coast-to-coast. My only advice is to bring a bandana to cover your face since it gets a little dusty on the trails, and if you like a rougher ride, grab a seat at the back. It is a must-do experience.
