Fun, BUMPY, Island tour

Took the "Jeep" Safari (it's actually a Toyota pickup) to the Natural Bridge, Lighthouse, Chapel, and couple other places along the way. Some of the stops are only about 10 minutes but they are well worth it. They take you along the coastline to see the water crashing in on the rock formations and you can get some great pictures. All the stops were fun and educational. There were 4 trucks and there were about 5-8 people per truck so it made for a nice conversational ride and also a good "small" crowd to hang with during the stops. The tour is fairly long as it lasted around 4 hours but it does go way out around the island. Once you get through a couple of stops in the large rock and cactus formations, you will go out onto the coastline and be prepared, IT IS A BUMPY RIDE!!! They make it as bumpy and they can but keeping you safe as well. We had a great tour guide. His name was Gino but he goes by Big Sexy. Full of energy and excitement for sure. He will make sure you are happy all day during the tour. Sodas and water were provided at no additional cost which was nice because it does get pretty hot, dry and dusty. The stop at the beach goes pretty quick. We got in the water for about 45 minutes and then had to head back but it was enough time to get some swim time in and get refreshed. Definitely was a good time and would recommend it as long as the bumpy ride does not bother you. We did wear tennis shoes for the walking around and glad we did. Just make sure to take a towel with you to wipe the sand off your feet at the beach and you are good to go.

Adventurous Tour Off The Beaten Path

My husband and I did the North Coast Jeep Safari tour via Carnival Cruise lines. It was a great experience and visited many of the places we wanted to tour. The ride was through rough terrain, but we have owned several jeeps so we were good with it. If you have any physical or medical issues they have different modes of transportation. There were several jeeps in our group so we had a variety of guides that worked together to make the tour energetic and informational. We would highly recommend them.
