We tried it

We had such a good time driving UTVs with ABC Tours out to Aruba's wild northern side. It's a different route from their popular Thrill Seekers tour since this one skips the national park and instead takes you into terrain you genuinely cannot reach without a 4x4. We loved stopping at Blackstone Beach, Andicuri, and the old Bushiribana Gold Mine Ruins, all spots that felt wonderfully off the beaten path. ABC Tours runs some of the most colorful UTVs on the island, and they just swapped in a whole new fleet, so everything felt fresh. It's off-road, but it never feels like a wild, dust-throwing adventure ride, more like a genuinely fun way to see parts of Aruba you'd otherwise miss, with the wind in your face the entire time. Our tip: book the morning tour if you can, it comes with a hot lunch back at ABC Tours' own restaurant, while the afternoon version skips straight to the driving.

Know before you go:

Off-road routes are rugged by nature. ABC is different because comfort is engineered; their fleet is maintained to a family-level standard. If it's not safe enough for their family, then it’s not good enough for their guests.
It’s real off-roading, so you’ll feel some bumps - the fun kind. Most guests giggle and laugh through it. ABC's guides drive controlled and always put safety-first.
This tour is not recommended if you have back or neck issues.
Pregnant women are not allowed on this tour.
When swimming/snorkeling is part of the day, ABC's guides stay present and actively monitor the group, so guests feel supported - not supervised from a distance. ABC assigns a dedicated lifeguard, plus a team trained in First Aid & CPR.
Goggles are not included, however you can buy a pair at check-in.

Additional information:

Children aged 5–17 must be accompanied by an adult and are only allowed to participate as passengers. Children under 12 are not permitted in 2-seater UTVs. The minimum age for 4-seater UTVs is 5 years old.
UTV drivers must be 18 or older and present a valid driver’s license, drivers permits are not accepted
A $50 USD per vehicle insurance* for collision/damage will be charged at check-in.
After payment, you will receive a confirmation email including your pick-up time.
Taxes and any additional fees will be added during the booking process.
The snorkel equipment is washed and sanitized before and after each tour. However, we do recommend that you bring your own if possible.
Not a strong swimmer? All life vests must be requested prior to tour departure.

Awesome Tour with Luis and Clay! My husband and I did this UTV tour during our honeymoon in Aruba, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip—so, so worth the experience! Our guides, Luis and Clay, were incredible. They did a fantastic job keeping the vibe high the entire time, taking awesome photos of us, and making sure we were hydrated with endless water. They even gave us free bandanas, which came in super handy for all the off-roading between spots! The itinerary was packed with great locations: * Conchi Natural Pool: Thrilling off-road drive to get there and amazing sights. * Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins & Alto Vista Chapel: Loved the local history and scenic stops. * Three Steps Beach: Absolutely beautiful! I loved it so much that I'm definitely going back on my own before we leave. To wrap it all up, they provided a delicious meal at the end. Every dish comes with rice, salad, and plantains—definitely go with the chicken, it was even better than the fish! Pro Tip: I highly recommend bringing water shoes and snorkeling gear to level up your experience, though you don't strictly need them to have an absolute blast. We can't recommend Luis, Clay, and this tour enough!

Absolutely loved this tour, we had a great time!! It was my favorite day in Aruba. Dave was absolutely amazing, by the end of the tour he felt more like family. He was attentive, made sure we were hydrated and funny! He also kept us entertained. We did the Ultimate Jeep Safari Tour of the island and it was beautiful! Be prepared to have lots of fun, would highly recommend 10/10!!

An amazing and fabulous UTV tour! Highly recommend this thrill seekers tour with natural pool and cliff jumping. Awesome experience, so fun! Our tour guides, Cley and Jonathan were fabulous. Loved this adventure and the UTV’s were amazing, high quality ATVs. 5 stars, but I would give them a 10 honestly! Highly recommend!

ABC TOUR is a must do when in Aruba! Our driver Jack was wonderful and funny! All the drivers work together and they are very knowledgeable about the history of Aruba. They are so friendly! You get to do a lot in 8 hours! The lunch was great! & my favorite part with my littles was def baby beach! However they did survive the massage in the national park! Can’t be more happy with this tour!

We had an absolute blast on the Island Ultimate Safari tour with ABC Tours! The tour itself is fantastic, but what truly made it an unforgettable experience was the staff. A massive special shoutout to our tour guide, Gino (aka "Big Sexy")! He is hilarious, high-energy, and keeps you entertained the entire time. What we loved most is that he didn't just drive us to a spot and wait in the truck—he actually jumped in, swam with us, and participated in the activities. The north side of the island is super rocky, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. But it’s all part of the fun and excitement, especially when Gino yells out "Shake and Bake!" right before the ride starts shaking you in your seat! Lunch was also great. The chicken was delicious, and while the grouper fish was really tasty, I just wish the portion was a bit bigger. Another big shoutout to our server, "Jellybean"—she was incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. The tour on its own is great, but Gino and Jellybean’s excellent service made it 10 times better. So glad we did it! 10/10 recommend.

Northern Wild Side visits Blackstone Beach, Andicuri Beach, the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, and Wariruri Bridge on Aruba's north coast. It does not include a Natural Pool stop, that is part of the Thrill Seekers route instead.

Can two people share one UTV?

Yes, the 2-seater UTV can be booked as "single or double riders".

Do I need a driver's license and is there a minimum age?
