No certificate? No problem! Take your very first breaths underwater with SE-Aruba's Discover Scuba Diving.

A 4-hour introduction to scuba diving for absolute beginners, with brief theory, pool practice and a real open water dive.

What can you expect?
When you arrive at SE-Aruba on Bucutiweg in Oranjestad, the team welcomes you and handles the paperwork to start your program. Your instructor then gives a briefing on the basics of scuba diving and helps you with your gear. Next you practice the basic underwater skills in a pool or shallow, calm water where you can comfortably stand. Once you master these skills, you head out to one of SE-Aruba's dive sites for your open water dive. A dedicated instructor stays close to you, guiding and assisting you from start to finish.

Who is this tour for?
This program is made for absolute beginners and for travelers who are short on time but want to experience scuba diving without a full certification. Participants must be 10 years or older. Groups are small, with a maximum of 6 divers, and the team never rushes you: the focus is on building your confidence, helping you relax and making sure you enjoy every moment. Guests without a rental car get free pickup from their hotel.

Good to know
Your health matters underwater. People with a cold or sinus congestion, bronchitis, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes or a severe medical condition, and those who are or may be pregnant, cannot dive. For many other conditions (for example heart, ear, lung or back problems, recent surgery or medication use) you need a written medical clearance from your doctor. Without this clearance at check-in you cannot take part and no refund is given. In doubt? Contact SE-Aruba before booking. This activity needs a minimum of 4 guests to run.
