Costa Linda Beach Resort exceeded every expectation during our wonderful 8-night stay in Aruba. We just checked out today and are already looking forward to returning. The location simply cannot be beat — right on beautiful Eagle Beach, recently recognized as the second-best beach in the world. The sand is powder-soft, the water is crystal clear, and the sunsets are absolutely unforgettable. What truly sets Costa Linda apart, however, is the people. Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to help in any way possible. We were amazed to learn that staff members who interact with guests are expected to speak five languages — and their professionalism and hospitality really showed throughout our stay. The resort itself was spotless, relaxing, and perfectly maintained. Whether enjoying the beach, pool, restaurants, or simply walking the grounds, everything reflected pride and attention to detail. Thank you, Costa Linda, for helping create such wonderful memories for Gina and me. Aruba is truly “One Happy Island,” and Costa Linda is a huge part of why.
One of the best hotel front beach. It’s older so not as modern, but it’s very clean, comfortable and well managed. I believe most rooms have an ocean view which is amazing. It’s family oriented but quiet. Really enjoyed our stay.
Best beach in Aruba! Staff are all so friendly and accommodating. The poolside restaurant has terrific lunch and breakfast (we haven't tried the dinner menu). The grounds and facility are kept spotless. Beach is kept clean and well groomed and plenty of chairs and palapas. We look forward to returning annually.
I have been traveling here since 1989 minus a couple of years. We have time in Casa Del Mar and stayed at Playa Linda but Costa Linda is the Cadillac of the Sun resorts.
I visited Costa Linda’s restaurant at Water’s Edge 12N and had a very disappointing experience despite the beautiful atmosphere. When I arrived, an attendant welcomed us warmly and pointed us toward the restaurant. We enjoyed lunch while taking in the beach view, and everything seemed fine—until after we finished eating. Once we walked down to the beach to take a few photos, we were suddenly approached by security and told we were not allowed on the beach because we were not hotel guests. Not only that, but we were also told we could not exit through the same lobby we used to enter the property for lunch. Instead, they insisted we leave through the beach area. This made absolutely no sense. If the beach is exclusive and non-guests are not allowed to use that area or exit through the lobby, then the restaurant should not allow the public to dine there without informing them of these restrictions upfront. I would never have spent my money there had I known I wouldn’t be allowed to walk the beach or even leave the same way I came in. Security stated this was “management’s rule,” but if management has rules that affect paying customers, management should have the professionalism to communicate them directly—preferably with signage at the entrance instead of sending security to deliver the message after I’ve already spent my money. Overall, the lack of communication and the way the situation was handled left a very bad impression. If non-guests are restricted from the beach or certain exits, that should be made clear before people sit down to dine. This experience was unnecessary, embarrassing, and avoidable with simple transparency.
