Great hotel!!! We stayed here one night a few years ago and had a very positive experience so we came back and stayed 4 nights this trip. The Courtyard is a hidden gem. The service is top notch, the pizzas and burger are really good and the prices are very reasonable. The room is large and comfortable. Never an issue getting pools chairs with shade. The beach area is improved since our first visit. The buffet breakfast, included, is very good. The bartenders are amazing (Oscar and the two ladies from Colombia). Marvin, the manager we met at check in, was engaging and friendly. Hotel and staff acknowledged Platinum status with a preferred room location and a welcome gift. We will be back. They set the bar high as we now visit the Renaissance for a few nights.
Just finished a one week stay at the Courtyard and we loved it. It’s not a luxury resort like the St Regis or the Hyatt but it’s more intimate and less crowded. It’s also a little different crowd. We had a poolside room which was clean and spacious. The place is well maintained. Great pool area and live entertainment. Kudos to the staff! Respectful, helpful and friendly. They make you feel welcome and never look bothered. The beach chairs they have are limited. This is the only negative about this hotel. Overall, a great stay for our first time in Aruba.
We spent 9 days here and it was wonderful. A beautiful resort with impeccable service. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had. The service from everybody was beyond wonderful. The location could not be beat. I would definitely come here again and I highly recommend it to anybody looking to visit Aruba.
So this hotel had its pros and cons, like every hotel does. I think overall we’d stay here again as the kids loved it. But I got a weird vibe sometimes that some of the staff were not very friendly towards our kids. They would be petting the iguanas and the staff would start shooing them away and making the iguanas run. My kids were literally yelling at the staff telling them not to treat the iguanas so bad and they just ignored them.. I wasn’t too thrilled about that.. that was mainly just the swim up bar staff though. Overall, The staff were mostly very friendly, some of the breakfast staff went above and beyond for us, especially Marlene and Rosey. They accommodated our requests to the T! Honestly, their customer service was incredible and we loved how welcoming and kind they were towards us !! It’s like people like them that would make us keep coming back to vacation here! Location of this hotel is not too bad- the walk to the town is about 5-7 minutes just down this straight road. It was really cool that the Marriott provides you with a free code on your phone when you download the bird app so you can use their electric scooters. Loved that! Got to town way faster this way. I’m going to post a video of the breakfast buffet which was way better than your regular courtyard standard! The one thing I didn’t love and they made an issue was you can only have your omelette with 3 toppings. I don’t understand this theory at all. I wanted 3 types of veggies and cheese and they’d say no to cheese and I’d have to remove a veggie. That to me is super petty and they should just make your omelette the way you want, and just put less of each veggie or something lol! Overall I’d stay here again, my kids loved the pools, both were soooo warm - I don’t think they’re even heated, just Aruba weather being amazing!! Food at the hotel was not bad either! Just a heads up, try not to stay at the front of the hotel (literally above the front desk) because there is an after hours nightclub next door that starts around 3 AM and the music is BLASTING. It was so loud. (Avoid rooms 2021-2022-2023) Overall- this hotel is a solid 8.9/10. Rooms are spacious and clean Staff are patient and kind Location is not bad and the shuttle to the beach is literally a minute or two away or you can walk and it’s like 5-6 mins max
A very beautiful place; we had a wonderful vacation at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and respectful; Mr. Jose was always attentive, helping us with our luggage and offering recommendations. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of food options. My daughters had a great time. The pools were beautiful—highly recommended!
