Very relaxing environment! We were in a ground floor, 1 bedroom villa. A/C worked great! Very clean with daily housekeeping. Staff very nice & attentive! Excellent location near the beach! Not much nightlife but bus stop is right outside of gate & Aruba bus system is easy to navigate wherever you want to go. And it's also faster & cheaper than a taxi! However, I'm giving 4 stars solely based on the bed. The mattress was old, hard, uncomfortable & awful! My body physically hurt from laying on it. I'm a side sleeper & could feel a spring or wire stabbing me in the hips. Our room was one of the more recently updated rooms so it would've been nice to have an updated mattress as well.
We had a very disappointing experience at La Quinta Beach Resort. Upon arrival, our room had an overwhelming foul, moldy odor that immediately raised concerns about the air quality. After inspecting the A/C unit, we found it to be completely covered in dust, which only reinforced our concerns. Due to this, we did not feel safe staying and checked out after just one night. Additionally, the resort’s fees were unclear and misleading. We were told there would be a $30 charge that could be applied toward dinner at the restaurant. However, this was not accurate—the $30 fee was charged on top of our dining expenses, not credited toward them as explained. To make matters worse, another family was checking out early at the same time we were, citing similar concerns. That alone speaks volumes. Unfortunately, due to the cleanliness issues and lack of transparency, we would not recommend staying at this establishment
We love spending time here. Have been for over 15 years. Wonderful people, right next to eagle Beach. Great pool and pool bar. Everything anybody would want in a place in Aruba.
Beach attendant was rude disrespectful threatened to call the police because i didn’t understand a policy an was asking for clarification. I was very respectful no yelling, cursing, or hostility. I strongly believe he threatened me bc I am a POC and that the threat of police would scare me. Very racially motivated. 0/10do not recommend.
Stayed there 10 years. Always was wonderful We’re going back next year. Made friends that last all year
It sits just across the road from Eagle Beach, where guests can use beach palapas.
