There’s so many great food options on the island but Marina Pirata is our favorite place to eat while in Aruba! The on the water dining and excellent service is just the beginning of your dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious! Our favorite dish is the Marina Special which is filet mignon, shrimp, lobster tail, rice or fries, funchi, polenta and fried plantain. I tried something different the last time we went, Lobster Thermidor and it was excellent! The bartender makes the best espresso martinis ♥️

One of the most amazing places to eat in Aruba! The restaurant is literally on top of the water. You dine in a Harbour. The atmosphere is amazing. The servers are amazing. The food is incredible!!!! This is a nice sized restaurant, yet they make you feel like you are home. I will literally be flying to Aruba to come here.

Looking for another restaurant to add to your list during your visit? I felt it important to share why you need to visit this amazing restaurant. Marina Pirata NEEDS to be included during your stay. We were so excited to be able to enjoy an incredible dinner with them the other night. For years we have been dining here. Last summer, they were hit with devastation as their kitchen caught fire. We were so sad for these wonderful people, as they had to rebuild a bit, and so sad for our belly’s that we couldn’t enjoy their delicious menu during our last vacation! They have come back better than ever! The food was in our opinion even better than the best they usually are! We started off with the breaded squid which was cooked perfectly and so tender. The breaded shrimp entree was delicious, and we love a side of Aruban pancake! The chef’s special of Amberjack (you had a choice of Mahi as well), covered in cheese, topped with shrimp and a delicious sauce was out of this world. 🍤 Shout out to Ms. Sheila who somehow always ends up being our server. She is the best! And a shout out to Ms. Sophie who was so incredibly kind to us during our visit ✨ If you haven’t been before, it is a little bit of a drive/taxi ride as it is located past the airport, near the Balashi factory. Is it worth the journey? YOU BET! I mean, look at the views! It’s the perfect place to be to watch the sunset with your loved ones. 🌅 We are going again this weekend…..Do it. Make the reservation. You won’t regret it 🏝️

Everything was perfect!! Last year, the week after the fire, we missed experiencing this hidden gem. We had been waiting an entire year and you do not disappoint. We will return, as well as telling our friends to go. "ONE LOVE" for Gino.
