Stayed at Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort, and I’m still emotionally processing what may or may not have happened on their private island. Let’s start with the obvious highlight: a dozen flamingos just… living their best lives on a private beach. Guests line up to feed them for 25 cents, which feels like a bargain considering how judgmental they look while taking your money. These birds are clearly first-class residents. Now here’s where things get complicated. The beach bar sells something called a Flamingo Wrap. Naturally, I assumed this was a bold culinary flex—locally sourced, pirate-era authenticity and all. I mean, first stop for flamingo food, just like the pirates used to eat—aaaargh! History matters. I ordered one. It was… incredible. Shockingly delicious. Like “I’d betray a cartoon bird for this” delicious. Halfway through, it dawned on me: Wait… people are literally paying to feed these flamingos pets… and I’m over here eating one in wrap form? I made brief eye contact with a flamingo who absolutely knew what I was doing. I felt shame. And hunger. Mostly hunger. But I chose to remain blissfully oblivious. The guilt was real, but so was the flavor. Ethics are complicated when the tortilla is warm. Bottom line:Stunning resort, magical private island, famingos that feel like pets, but taste like chicken, and a wrap that raises moral questions I wasn’t prepared to answer on vacation Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I eat another Flamingo Wrap? …Let’s just say the pirates didn’t hesitate.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!! This was my first time in Aruba and it’s been nothing BUT amazing! The island people are so friendly, the staff here at the Mariana adult side has been top knotch! Pedro, from Sky Blue is AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVE HIM! This has been the best experience ever! I will definitely be coming back! Flamingo island was my absolute favorite L.G. smith steak house was so good, we went back a second time!!!! You will not be disappointed!!!! ❤️ See you again Aruba!
The casino has a limited number of tables, including baccarat, but they won’t let you play them. Baccarat tables seem to be reserved for local Chinese patrons, who often aren’t even playing, while everyone else is turned away. I’ve been here for five days and have seen the same thing every day. I’ve never experienced anything like this in any other casino in the world — you learn something new every day 🤷🏻♂️
Looking for a place to play Bingo. Website says many days available including Monday night at 8pm. Got there at 7:30pm. Asks many people where to go and was advised no Bingo since COVID in 2020. OK I guess and I can play in the website advertised poker room. Where’s that I asked ? Used to be in the top rail but closed in 2020 with COVID. Thinking the one star is appropriate if you have not updated your website in 6 years !! Very disappointing.

We liked it in this casino. Black Jack dealers were nice. We had free drinks and enjoyed our time. It is on the water next to Renaissance market place. Some how I liked it here and didn't like casinos at Hilton, Barcelo,. Marriott stelaris or the Ritz.
